Registration

- Day of from 7:00am to 7:30am at the registration tent at the base of Centennial Lift

Event Details
- 2,100 foot ascent, chair lift ride down is approximately 13 minutes
- 6 hour event, held on Beaver Creek Overlook Trail
- Individuals or teams of 2 or 4, co-ed and non co-ed will compete in respective categories: Co-ed Open, Men's, Women's
- Entry fee $25 per person (solo, 2 or 4 person teams) - After August 31st, $30 per person
- All participants will receive a goody bag

Prizes & Awards
All categories will receive awards and prizes for the top 3 in each category. Must be present at awards to receive awards and prizes.

1st - $500
2nd - $250
3rd - $150
4th - $100
5th - $50

Race Gear
- Racers should plan to be self -sufficient. It is recommended that racers carry a layer to wear for the chair lift ride down.
- Support staff is allowed to hand up clothing, food and drink as desired
- Poles are permitted
- Aid stations will have Energy Bar products, water and Gatorade.

Policies:

Race Rules & Regulations
- Racers must use Overlook Trail.
- Course will be marked and flagged.
- The entire course must be completed as directed in order for racers and teams to be officially ranked. No cutting of switchbacks or course at anytime.
- Three neutral support stations will be on the course. One at the start/bottom of course. The second station will be way up the trail. The third station will be at the top.
- Racers are allowed to have outside support at any of the three aid stations as well as on the chairlift.
- Racers are not allowed to be pushed or pulled on the course by support crews or other participants, this is grounds for disqualification
- Race numbers will be supplied by the organizers and must be visible at all times.
- The race clock starts with the race director's signal.
- Racers MUST check in at the top aid/timing station on each lap and report their race number.
- Team members must pass off wristband at the base area Start/Finish to each other before next member can start lap.
- Racers WILL NOT be allowed to start another lap after 2:00pm.
- Racers MUST report to the top aid station by 3:00pm for that lap to count.
- The Official race time/results will be your time recorded at the aid/timing station at the top of the Centennial Chair lift
- Weather or Chairlift delays will be considered part of the race, all participants must be courteous to other guest and resort operations staff. Any issues must be bought up to the race organization, not resort staff. Abuse of this policy will be subject to penalty and or disqualification.
- Race director/officials have the final ruling on all issues including lightning/weather, chair lift delays, etc.
- Race rules and special instructions must be adhered to
- Course rules are subject to change as race organization sees necessary
- Time penalties may be implemented for violation of rules or instructions
- Littering will be grounds for disqualification
- Racers and/or Teams must be present at awards presentation to receive awards and prizes
